The base cost of using our platform is $9.99/month, and in addition to that, there will be charges for using Twilio services.

Twilio is a communication platform that enables us to integrate messaging, voice, and video functionalities to our text messaging platform.  Twilio ensures reliable and efficient communication, and thus enhancing the overall user experience. 

A separate subscription with Twilio is required for using Harbinger Text to ensure cost-effectiveness for our users. By having users pay for the amount of texts they send, we are able to provide the best pricing for text messaging services. Unlike the traditional model where companies bear the cost, this approach allows users to have control over their expenses based on their usage.

The reason for individual Twilio accounts is to mitigate the potential negative impact of spamming. If a few users engage in spam texting, it could affect the delivery of messages for other users. Mobile carriers closely monitor and regulate spam texting. With each user having their own Twilio account, any negative impact caused by spamming will be limited to the account responsible for it, ensuring a smoother experience for the rest of our users.

  • Phone numbers: Twilio charges a monthly fee for each phone number you connect to your account, starting at $1 per month for local numbers and $2 for toll-free numbers in the US.
